Harry J. Fournier

Harry J. Fournier, Owner and Principal of Fournier Law Firm, located in Oak Brook, has served the interests of thousands of clients during his 25 years of practice in Illinois. Testimonials often cite his attention to detail, professionalism and ability to explain legal proceedings in an uncomplicated way.  The majority of Fournier's practice is focused on real estate law, representing clients in the sale, purchase or leasing of residential and commercial properties and real estate tax appeals.  He also represents clients in the formation of new business entities (LLC’s and corporations), purchasing or selling small businesses and estate planning.

Fournier has repeatedly been selected to the Illinois Super Lawyers list, a distinction given to only 5% of attorneys in Illinois.  He holds a JD from Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law, an MBA “with distinction” from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago.

He has served as a past president and Chairman of the Board Hellenic Bar Association of Illinois, Inc. and is a member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association.

In addition to his legal expertise, he is actively involved in the community and serves in various capacities at many professional organizations, including currently serving as Chair of the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors Affiliate committee, Executive Vice-President of the Parish Council for the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Demetrios in Elmhurst and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Hellenic Bar Association Foundation.
